Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has released the official GATE notification 2025 on the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The authorities started the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2025 registration process from August 28 onwards. The last date to fill GATE 2025 application form is October 3, 2024 (without late fee). There are no international GATE 2025 exam centres. So, Indian nationals or foreign who are interested in appearing for the GATE exam 2025 will have to travel to India to appear for the test.

GATE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

IIT Roorkee has released the eligibility criteria of GATE 2025 along with notification. Candidates need to fulfil the GATE eligibility 2025 requirements to apply for the exam.

• Nationality - Candidates should be Indian citizens. However, candidates from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are also eligible to apply.
• Age - There is no age limit for appearing in the GATE exam 2025.
• Educational Qualification - Candidates should have completed or be in their pre-final/ final year of Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or Postgraduate (M.Sc) degree in any relevant subject.

GATE 2025 Application Form

IIT Roorkee released the GATE application form 2025 on August 28. GATE exam 2025 registration portal is activated in online mode only. Candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps to complete GATE exam registration:

Initial Registration of IIT Roorkee GATE 2025 - In the first step, candidates have to register through GATE online application processing system (GOAPS) using Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2025 registration link with details like Candidate’s first, middle name and surname, Valid email ID, Country of residence, Mobile number, Password. After adding the details, candidates have to enter the OTP received on the mobile number and registered Email ID. A unique enrollment ID will be allotted to the successfully registered candidates.

Filling of GATE application form 2025 - Once registered, candidates have to complete the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2025 application form with details like Personal details, Academic details, communication details, paper appearing for, exam centre details, photo ID proof, Signature and category certificate (for reserved categories).

Uploading Required documents - Upload scanned images of photo, signature and other documents as per the specification.

Application fee payment - Next, candidates have to pay the GATE application fee in online mode.

GATE 2025 Admit Card

IIT Roorkee will issue the GATE admit card 2025 online at the official website only. Candidates who successfully register for the GATE 2025 exam before the last date will be issued GATE hall tickets by the authorities. GATE scorecard 2025

IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 score cards for qualified candidates once the results are declared. The GATE scorecard will be available online on the GOAPS portal. Candidates need to enter their enrollment ID and password to download the GATE score card 2025. The scorecard of GATE 2025 will contain details like candidates marks, score, all India rank, qualifying marks, total number of candidates appeared and more.

GATE 2025 Cutoff

The exam conducting authorities will announce the qualifying GATE 2025 cutoff for each paper. The GATE cutoff marks 2025 will be the minimum marks required to qualify the exam. The counselling conducting authorities will announce the GATE cutoff marks for every participating institute of GATE 2025. The GATE 2025 qualifying cutoff marks for all 29 subject papers will be different from each other.

GATE 2025 Counselling Process

There will be no common counselling for GATE 2025. The candidates have to apply for admissions at the preferred institutes individually. However, the GATE counselling and admission process for IITs will be done through the COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal).
