SSC CGL 2025 Vacancy - Selection Process

SSC selects qualified candidates for CGL posts by conducting the SSC CGL exam. The SSC CGL exam is conducted annually and consists of 3 levels, Tier 1, Tier 2, and Document Verification (DV). The selection process of SSC CGL is as follows.

SSC CGL Vacancy 2025 - Tier 1 Exam

The first step of the selection process is The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2025. Candidates will be assessed on the following subjects: English Language, General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will have 100 questions and hold 200 marks.

SSC CGL Vacancy 2025 - Tier 2 Exam

The SSC CGL Tier 2 is the second round of the SSC CGL selection process. This round consists of three papers: Paper I, Paper II and Paper III. Out of these, Paper I consists of 3 sections, and the first two sections must be attempted by all candidates. Candidates who clear these two sections will be permitted to attempt section III, the DEST.

Only candidates going for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation must attempt Paper II. Paper III must be attempted by candidates going for the post of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.

SSC CGL Vacancy 2025 - Document Verification

This is the final round of SSC CGL 2025 where candidates who have qualified in both tiers of SSC CGL must bring documents, including two passport-sized colour photos and a valid ID proof.
